Did anyone know these existed? seriously? So apparently there are licensed die cast electric scale cars. Theres also licensed die cast car like the sls amg, panamera, hummers etc. It's probably not the best performing electric car, but still cool non the less. Highly detail models and accented with chrome. Here's the link:

Nice!
Do you have any RC cars? I've been thinking of getting one. I haven't had one since I was in 9th grade.

I haven't owned one yet, but I want to get one. I have a friend whose willing to sell me a nitro RC car for $50. I'm considering getting that, and fixing the piston, and just running off of that for my first car. But the thing is I want to save up for a project car also, and getting one will take a chunk out of the fund if I buy new.

I'm going to do research soon. It would be funny to see the dog chasing the car around. And I can finally own an exotic car :)

My parts department sells the SLS version and a friend of mine bought it. Best part was coating the rear tires in silicone spray and drifting it all over the shop

I had one RC, made by Rastar, and it's freaking Honda Accord!
It cost 50 bucks in here, and it's quite amazing. Not really fast tough.

I've long been tempted by something like this, however I don't think they'd be nearly as much fun as a regular RC considering the extra weight and taking into account the extra detail in a diecast I don't think they'll crash too well either. Having said that, they do look very nice.

was it like a 1:18 die-cast that just so happen to be R/C? or was it just a very well detailed R/C car?

It's a very detailed RC Car.
I think ifi it's a 1/18 it'll had an opening door, this hasn't.

I'll create a post when I finally get the new toy. I might go big and get something fancy. Still cheaper than an actual car :)

Well lets see, you could get a cheap 500 dollar car, fix it up yourself, and then compares that to a 1/8 scale traxxas, and you will find the cost could become similar pretty quickly. (not including gas or insurance on the car)

Well, if you really wanted to get a rc car just to drive it, don't get this. simple as that. lol. But it would still be a col thing to have if you had the money lying around, and you could upgrade the motor pretty easily for another 150 if you had the money.

Haha true. But I don't have time to fix up a beater right now. And I'm already spending close to $7000 a year on insurance and gas now!!
Looking up the 1/8 scale traxxas now

What do you think about this one:

Meh, it definitely has good insides, just the shell imho. But that's easy to replace with anything you want for around like 15 bucks. Nitrorcx.com and hobbypartz.com has some good stuff. But yeah, traxxas is like one of those top of the line really expensive stuff. You can get the same thing for cheaper from other brands.

Well make sure to research nitro vs electric, brushless and brushed motors, and all of the parts of a car before you buy one.

I've never had nitro. It seems kind of exciting. I had electric in the past, a long time ago
